Outfit Post || Denim on Denim

To be honest I don't remember when these pictures were taken or when this outfit was worn.  I want to say it was back in December, but I completely forgot** all about them until I looked and saw I had a draft post out there.  

I do remember that this outfit was inspired by outfits worn by several other bloggers (see pin here, here, and here).  Every time I hear or see an outfit that's denim on denim, my brain automatically flashes back to the Justin Timberlake/Britney Spears fiasco a la 2001.   And while trends should be left in the closet and never released again, the "denim on denim" is one I am glad didn't stay in (not that it ever really was a trend even back then).

** I think "pregnancy brain" has set in, please excuse my forget fullness.  Or it could be my old age since I just turned 31 last week.
